For microstrip or grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) designs, Southwest Microwave solderless vertical launch connectors provide optimal signal integrity and are reusable. Suitable for various board materials and thicknesses, the vertical launch connectors reduce footprint requirements without sacrificing performance, resulting in design and installation convenience.

Southwest Microwave’s SuperSMA is a high performance field service SMA connector. SuperSMA utilizes the basic PTFE dielectric interface (true SMA) and features low VSWR mode free through 27 GHz and less than -100 dB RF leakage. The thick outer conductor wall provides great durability to assure reliability in repeat mating, enhancing component performance. The SuperSMA interface is in accordance with MIL-STD-348.
Our 1 Series cable assembly lineup features heat-resistant types that can be used in a wide continuous operating temperature range (-65 to +125°C) in microwave measurement environments, alongside durability-focused types with a dramatically improved mechanical life based on a cabling structure cultivated through developing robot cables.
SuperMini Board-to-Board solutions optimize interconnect performance for board-to-board stacking applications.
Available bullets enable board-to-board spacing as close as 3 mm, assuring transmission line dependability for tightly stacked PCBs. Low mating insertion force allows for an increased density of interconnections per board. Unique bullet design enables extended mating and de-mating cycles.
Southwest Microwave connectors and accessories are designed to be compatible with each other to assure electrical performance. Southwest Microwave cannot assure electrical performance when the accessories are used with a non-Southwest Microwave connector.
