The Wide Linear Diffuse Light series is ideal for the inspection of elongated or cylindrical objects.  Perfect for inspections requiring a multi-camera setup.  Can be provided with up to 4 viewing ports.  Expandable lengths from 6” – 36” (152 – 194mm) in 6” increments.

This Large Area Diffuse Light provides extremely diffuse illumination over an area of 18” square (457mm).  Available in a wide array of wavelengths, providing up to 7kLux at a 1” (25mm) standoff.  At 13.6 pounds (6.2 kilograms), the DL071 is both rugged and lightweight.

Rugged, cast aluminum housing has an outer diameter of 8.4” (213mm) and an inner, working diameter of 6.1” (155mm).  The Medium Dome Light is available in a wide range of wavelengths including a 3 channel, RGB configuration.  Provides up to 59kLux at a 1” (25mm) standoff.

The Narrow Linear Diffuse Light series is ideal for precision scanning of highly reflective materials.  The DL151 is available in a wide range of wavelengths and provides up to 28kLux at a 1” (25mm) standoff.  The extruded aluminum enclosure can be expanded in 2″ (51mm) increments from 2″ to 70″ (1778mm).

The Small Dome Light is available in a wide range of wavelengths including a 3 channel, RGB configuration.  Rugged, cast aluminum housing has an outer diameter of 5.25” (133.3mm) and an inner, working diameter of 3.1” (78.7mm).  Provides up to 79kLux at a 1” (25mm) standoff.

The compact design of the DL2230 is easy to integrate into machine vision applications that require a space saving lighting design.  The housing of this Extra Small Dome Light has an outer dimension of 2.83” (71.9mm) and an inner, working diameter of 1.95” (49.5mm).

Built on the same architecture as the popular BL2 backlight, the FD2 planar diffuse light offers the same high-performance and flexible build options, but in a front lighting geometry. The FD2 light differs from the FX and FX2 planar diffuse lights in that the LEDs are located under the diffuser, rather than positioned in the frame (side-illumination). The FD2 planar diffuse light can be a substituted for a dome light on flat, and/or topographic surfaces, such as a PCB, depending on the exact features of interest. It has the distinct advantage over a diffuse dome light in that it can be positioned at much longer light working distances.

Edge-lit Flat Diffuse Lights provide a space saving design for the illumination of highly reflective objects. Contained within a thinner housing than our Back-lit Flat Diffuse Lights (FD Series) Product to be discontinued. Refer to change notice for details.

The FX2 is the edge-lit flat diffuse light built for reflective surface inspection. Unlike back-lit diffuse designs, the FX2 positions its LEDs in the frame rather than behind the emitting window. This side-lit geometry allows for a thin housing and a scalable planar design with uniform output at longer working distances. The FX2 is available in sizes from 50 mm x 50 mm up to 600 mm x 600 mm in 25 mm increments. It is offered in 11 wavelengths, with optional polarization to help reduce glare on reflective surfaces, and can be specified with a central viewport for select front lighting applications.
