- The DF241 is characterized as a Small Low Angle Dark Field ring light.
- Precisely aimed LEDs provide a very low angle of incidence, radial illumination pattern.
- A scratch on a sheet of glass is a good example of a defect that can be detected with a low-angle dark field illuminator.
- With a light intensity of 24kLux at a working distance of ½” (12.5mm), the DF241 is perfect for imaging problems limited to a small field of view.

With their domed shape, LUMIMAX® LED dome lights generate a diffused light that falls on the test object from all directions, achieving completely shadow-free illumination.
Typical applications are the inspection of reflective or mirroring materials. With a LED dome light, even complex or curved surfaces can be illuminated homogeneously.
LED dome lights are extremely well suited for standard-compliant reading and verification of two-dimensional codes.
Built on the same architecture as the popular BL2 backlight, the FD2 planar diffuse light offers the same high-performance and flexible build options, but in a front lighting geometry.
The FD2 light differs from the FX and FX2 planar diffuse lights in that the LEDs are located under the diffuser, rather than positioned in the frame (side-illumination).
The FD2 planar diffuse light can be a substituted for a dome light on flat, and/or topographic surfaces, such as a PCB, depending on the exact features of interest. It has the distinct advantage over a diffuse dome light in that it can be positioned at much longer light working distances.
