The MDR system is your key to data collection in challenging, real-world airborne flight test scenarios. Its modular design allows it to seamlessly adapt to the full spectrum of test requirements, whether it’s a lightweight task or an extensive mission with diverse signals, environmental challenges, and lengthy recording periods. A comprehensive range of signal interface modules, custom-tailored for various data sources and bus types, ensures that it’s ready to meet today’s demands and future requirements.
The MDR-GT / GTS is the ultra-fast on-board flight test (16 Gbps) instrumentation solution. The MDR family is technically based on a common mainframe with many high-end built-in interfaces and functions. The MDR-GT / GTS is highly customizable: functions and requirements can be addressed by adding dedicated interface modules, offering a variety of configuration options for all applications and requirements (MDR modules compatibility). Because Cybersecurity is key, the MDR-GTS has been built with secure functions: Data-At-Rest (FIPS 140-2), Key Access Management, Removable Non-Volatile Memory.
Sensors acquisition and recording for troubleshooting is a cumbersome process in a fully furnished or operational aircraft, especially when time and low footprint are key drivers.  This is no more the case with Safran new solution µMA:  its cylindrical form factor allows easy installation by just requiring a standard clamp used to mount tubes  its battery power supply and its wireless connectivity removes the need of installing any harness in the aircraft.  All these capabilities are available while providing high measuring performance and harsh environment ruggedized in line with Safran standard solutions.
With its small and high ruggedized design, XMA is the best fit for remote data acquisitions in harsh and small space areas.  It is the perfect candidate for network telemetry applications and remote acquisitions, to reduce the wire intrusiveness, and acquire the data closer to the sensors.  XMA also allows data recording, data processing, GPS localization and data transmission. XMA has the smallest size/channel types ratio, and proposes optimized module set for a large number of data type acquisitions, with state-of-the-art accuracy.
The XMA-BOX packs top-notch XMA module technology into a cost-effective 1U package, delivering high performance. This versatile system handles the acquisition, processing, and streaming of both analog and digital signals in various instrumentation data formats.  Perfect for ground testing facilities, the XMA-BOX is also rugged enough to thrive in the diverse environmental conditions of small to large aircraft cabins.
Our modular data acquisition unit, the XMA-ROTOR, brings cutting-edge module technology to the specialized mechanical housing designed for rotor head instrumentation.  Say goodbye to outdated slip ring technology – the XMA-ROTOR revolutionizes the game by offering a completely wireless and contactless connection between the rotor and the stator.  Power is transmitted through inductive coupling, while data, health monitoring info, configuration data, and synchronization signals are transferred over a bi-directional radio link.
