To fortify the security of Flight Test Instrumentation data, the MDR-GTS/D19-GTS system introduces a robust data-at-rest protection feature. This safeguard ensures that the D19-GTS can securely access encrypted Flight Test Instrumentation data within a protected MDR-GTS storage canister. Consequently, the secure transfer of Flight Test Instrumentation data to another network becomes a seamless and protected process.
The D19-GTS plays a pivotal role in facilitating firmware updates for the MDR-GTS through the Removable Secure Operational Disk (RSOD), thereby upholding the highest security standards. The D19-GT/-GTS is equipped with an intuitive WebUI for effortless setup and configuration, allowing the definition of distinct user accounts with specific access rights. The operating system of choice is the secure and reliable Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
