Our Space Optical Imager SEEING™ 230 Ident acquires high quality images with accurate radiometry for LEO earth observation applications. This very high-resolution imager includes a 65 Mpixels sensor and control electronics. SEEING™ 230 Ident is a compact, high-precision ZERODUR® based imager for small satellites. Its design – based on mirrors only – enables to handle any spectral domain, from visible to near infrared, delivering diffraction limited image quality through entire Field of View (FoV).
From a 500 km orbit, SEEING™ 230 Ident offers a 9.7 km swath width with a 1.03 m native Ground Sample Distance (GSD), and features a super-resolution optional mode providing a 0.70 m GSD.
Thanks to its unique design, SEEING™ 230 Ident offers an ultra-low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power) factor. The ZERODUR® structure provides a thermally robust and ultra-compact instrument, while maintaining excellent optical performance. In addition, the Korsch optical architecture helps minimize stray light paths, further enhancing imager performance. Its low mass, below 28.6 lbs (13 kg), saves both platform and launch costs. SEEING™ 230 Ident offers various options of flexibility links to the platform.
