All-in-One Support for RF Measurements, Protocol Tests and Applications Tests in FR1 (to 7.125 GHz) and FR2 (Millimeter-Wave) Bands
With a 5G base station emulation function, a single MT8000A test platform supports both the FR1 (to 7.125 GHz), including band n41, and the FR2 (millimeter-wave) bands used by 5G. Combining it with the OTA Chamber enables both millimeter-wave band RF measurements and beamforming tests using call connections specified by 3GPP. In addition, the intuitive, state-machine-based GUI supports various application tests such as handover tests, quasi-normal and abnormal network tests. Moreover, maximum IP data throughput can be measured for a wide variety of band, CA, and MIMO combinations.

Expanded with the New Hardware Option to a Platform Capable of Supporting FR3 (7.125 GHz to 16 GHz), in Addition to FR1 and FR2
A new RF hardware option has been released that supports the highly anticipated 7.125 GHz to 16 GHz range in the FR3 spectrum (7 GHz to 24 GHz), which is expected to be adopted in 6G. In addition to FR1 and FR2, the single unit expands the platform to support FR3 as well, providing a reliable, long‑term solution from 4G/5G through 6G/FR3.
* For the FR3 band, please contact us for details on the support status and update plans of each application.
Flexible Platform using Modular Architecture
The leading-edge design with flexibility and scalability uses a modular architecture. As well as supporting 4x4 MIMO and 8CA implemented by eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband), it provides a flexible environment for future 5G test requirements, including URLLC (Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communications) and mMTC (massive Machine Type Communications)
Supports Existing LTE Test Environment
A comprehensive test environment is provided by making use of Anritsu's LTE test platform offering leading-edge functions based on the company's long experience in this market. Easy configuration of a linked environment for simulating 5G and LTE NSA (non-standalone) makes best use of measurement assets, such as the customer's test environment, test scenarios, etc.

Supports Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) Condition
In DSS, the spectrum is allocated to both 4G and 5G by the scheduler intelligently, depending on the requirements. This is a much more efficient use of spectrum.
The MT8000A can measure throughput under DSS at several NR/LTE allocation conditions.
Supports 5G NTN Testing
NTN (Non Terrestrial Network) is attracting attention as a technology that enables communication even in areas where conventional networks are difficult, such as mountainous regions, remote islands, and disaster-stricken zones. However, “propagation delay” until radio waves reach the terminal and “Doppler shift,” which causes changes in communication frequency due to satellite movement, are challenges.
MT8000A supports RF and protocol testing under “propagation delay” and “Doppler shift” conditions in 5G NTN environments as defined in 3GPP Release 17 and later.
Supports RedCap Testing
RedCap (Reduced Capability) is a new 5G specification optimized for IoT applications such as industrial sensors, surveillance cameras, and wearable devices, featuring low cost, low power consumption, and compact design.
MT8000A supports RF and protocol testing under RedCap conditions as defined in 3GPP Release 17 and later.
MT8000A Base Station Manufacturing Solution Features
The MT8000A is the ideal non-signaling RF test solution for manufacturing 5G base stations. Combination with the MX800045A and MX800046A software covers all the main Sub-6 GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) frequency bands.
Up to Four TRx Ports for Efficient Production-Line Testing
With up to four installed TRx ports, the MT8000A handles both simultaneous and parallel measurements with ease, cutting test times, raising productivity, and reducing costs.
Simultaneous Measurement
The MT8000A support simultaneous measurement with up to four TRX ports and can cut test times for multi-antenna port base stations.
Parallel Measurement
The MT8000A supports independent parallel measurement with four (max.) TRX ports and can centralize test equipment to reduce costs. Unlike conventional systems requiring a test instrument for each test system, one MT8000A can handle up to four test systems.
Supports Both Sub-6 GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) Band Measurements
Connecting the MT8000A and RF Converter (MA80003A) supports mmWave (FR2) measurements. The all-in-one MT8000A covers the main frequency ranges used by both the Sub-6 GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) bands.
Features of Base Station Test Suite for NR mmWave MX800045A/Base Station Test Suite for NR Sub-6 GHz MX800046A
The Base Station Test Suite for NR mmWave MX800045A/Base Station Test Suite for NR Sub-6 GHz MX800046Am are non-signaling RF test software for production-line testing of 5G NR base stations. MX800045A/MX800046A software analyze downlink signals and measure RF characteristics for the 5G NR Sub-6 GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) bands.
All-at-Once Signal Analysis and RF Characteristics Measurement
The MX800045A/MX800046A software can analyze frequency errors and EVM signals while measuring RF characteristics such as adjacent channel leakage power, OBE, etc. RF test times are shorter because there is no need to switch the signal analysis software and spectrum analyzer for each measurement item.
All-at-Once Multicarrier Analysis
The MX800045A/MX800046A software supports all-in-one multiple component carrier measurements. The characteristics of each single carrier can be measured quickly at the same time without needing to measure each single carrier separately.
