Built on the same architecture as the popular BL2 backlight, the FD2 planar diffuse light offers the same high-performance and flexible build options, but in a front lighting geometry.

The FD2 light differs from the FX and FX2 planar diffuse lights in that the LEDs are located under the diffuser, rather than positioned in the frame (side-illumination).

The FD2 planar diffuse light can be a substituted for a dome light on flat, and/or topographic surfaces, such as a PCB, depending on the exact features of interest. It has the distinct advantage over a diffuse dome light in that it can be positioned at much longer light working distances.

• The SL162 is characterized as a High Intensity Spot/Coaxial Light and is designed primarily to replace fiber optic light sources in coaxial lensing applications. 
• Optional couplers are available for use with Dolan-Jenner, Fostec, and Moritex fiber bundles. 
• The spot light is designed with sufficient thermal management to provide 33kLux at a working distance of 4” (100mm). 
• A very wide range of wavelengths from UV to IR are available.

• Designed for machine vision applications that require broad illumination over a wide area with controlled fall off.
• This BALA (Broad Area Linear Array) bar light series is expandable in 1″ increments up to 82″.
• Applications requiring an even wider area of illumination can utilize two BALA bar lights aligned in parallel, facing each other.

• Our White High Intensity Linear Backlights offer 540 kLux output, perfect for back-lit, line-scanning applications.

• A 3″ (75mm) length option is also available. Available intensity control provides illuminance adjustability for every 6″ increment via a 0 – 10v input.

• Precisely aimed LEDs, along with an aluminum beam folder, provide a specific and repeatable light pattern on the imaging plane. 
• The light provides up to 11kLux at a working distance of .6” (15mm). 
• The RL3940 is available in a wide range of wavelengths from UV to IR. 
• The folded-beam configuration provides dark field illumination in a compact 3.9” (100mm) housing.
