The FI8000 interface provides both power to and communication with the FL8000 series probes. A low-level loop back fiber optic connection is used to sense unexpected disconnect of laser driven fibers to ensure user-safe operation. As an additional safety measure, shuttered connectors are used on all fiber optic connections to and from the probe.
The FI8000 can be used with the FM7004A Field Monitor (using the provided 0.5-meter fiber optic cable) or a PC by direct communication using the IEEE-488 (GPIB), Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS-232 or Fiber-Optic Serial interfaces.
The FL8000 Series field probes offer a three-in-one solution capable of measuring continuous-wave, pulsed, and modulated electric fields. Covering 5 kHz – 60 GHz, the FL8000 Series works great in commercial, automotive, military, and aviation applications. Each field probe is an electrically small, separable axis sensor capable of measuring both continuous wave and pulsed electric fields offering a unique bandwidth, sensitivity, and dynamic range. Functionality that historically necessitated several types of field probes is now encompassed in a single product.
This series offers exceptional linearity and dynamic range performance to enable the accuracy required for even the most demanding testing. With fiber power connectivity, the FL8000 Series provides an easy migration path, all while delivering the reliability that has made AR the world leader in field monitoring.
AR’s microwave amplifiers are just as tough and dependable as our RF amplifiers, and they are backed by the same comprehensive warranty. Our microwave amplifiers offer the hard-to-find combinations of power and bandwidth in frequency increments and power output you need for today’s test applications.
AR Microwave horns take microwave coverage to a new level. Our broadband RF and microwave horn antennas are specially designed to compensate for the losses that typically occur in test systems as frequency increases. They exhibit increasing gain with increasing frequency, up to 50 GHz. AR microwave horn antennas can be used in shielded rooms or in free space.
AR’s state-of-the-art multi-tone systems are designed to test RF Radiated and Conducted Immunity faster than ever before. Both the MT2IEC10V3M and MT4IEC10V3M fully comply with IEC 61000-4-3:2020 Edition 4, allowing for multiple tone testing, reducing test time by up to 74%. Commercial, aviation, and automotive industries, will perform RF radiated and conducted immunity testing faster, more accurately, more efficiently, and more closely to a real-world environment.
With the inclusion of instrumentation hardware and AR’s emcware® software, the MT2IEC10V3M and MT4IEC10V3M are full turn-key systems in one rack, capable of producing 18 V/m CW (10 V/m AM). The MT2IEC10V3M reduces test time by up to 50% and the MT4IEC10V3M reduces test time by up to 74%. Customized systems achieving higher field strengths are also available, using this approach.
We have complete standard and custom test systems that perform entire radiated immunity tests with just the press of a few buttons. Everything you need – amplifiers, antennas, couplers, signal generators, system controllers, receivers, and more, along with the software to control it – all in one comprehensive system.
Our “A” and “W” Series amplifiers have the power to deliver all the field strength you need. With unsurpassed mismatch capabilities and excellent flatness, they provide all the power promised over the entire operating band.
We subject our amplifiers to the harshest conditions just to make sure they give you reliable service and performance over the long haul. We test them under various output VSWR loads to stress them to the limit. The only problem we ran into was that there were no available loads to handle the enormous power up to 80,000 W that our amplifiers deliver. Whereas this would stop most manufacturers, it presented another challenge to our talented designers, and we designed our own. All our RF solid-state amplifiers have modulation capability that will faithfully reproduce AM, FM or Pulse Modulation appearing on the input signal for use in the most demanding EMC applications.
These technologically advanced amplifiers perform beyond the norm, beyond expectations, and way beyond the abilities of other test amplifiers.
These self-contained, broadband, completely solid-state amplifiers are designed for applications requiring the ultimate in output power over a wide instantaneous bandwidth with high gain. Extensive control and status reporting capabilities are available both locally and remotely. Most models feature air-cooled designs while some higher power units feature liquid cooled designs. The touch-screen panels are intuitive, convenient, and easy to use.
If you are tired of mixing and matching various components, try AR’s complete line of RF Conducted Immunity Test Systems. We now make one fully configured and standalone CI System from 4 kHz to 400 MHz with output powers designed to meet the latest commercial, custom, and military standards. In addition, AR provides configurable systems meeting your specific requirements of increased power and frequency range. Each CI System has the built-in flexibility to conduct standard and customized tests, using our user-friendly software (emcware®) that can generate reports directly into Microsoft® Word or Excel.
