Xena2889 is a Windows desktop application for benchmarking the performance of Layer 2 LAN switches. It is free and bundled with every XenaManager release.
Create, edit and execute test configurations using Xena test equipment according to RFC 2889
Configure and enable many of the test-types defined in RFC 2889
Supports L2-3 testing and either IPv4 or IPv6
Flexibly define protocol layers (Ethernet, VLANs, IP, UDP, etc.)
Assign separate protocol layer definitions to each test port
Extensive configuration options to fine-tune the tests
Xena3918 provides an easy-to-use port configuration panel that lets you add and remove ports, and assign IP addresses and port roles. Ports from multiple XenaBay and XenaCompact chassis can be freely mixed.
Makes it easy to create, edit and execute all test-types specified in RFC 3918
Support for IPv4 and IPv6
Multiple protocols supported per UNI (Ethernet, Customer and Service VLANs, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6, and UDP)
Support for all IGMP/MLD versions
Works seamlessly with multiple XenaBay and XenaCompact test chassis
Ability to flexibly define protocol layers supported by the test incl. Ethernet VLANs, IP and UDP
Extensive configuration options for fine-tuning tests
1-slot 1U allows high-port density in a robust form factor

XenaManager is used to configure and generate streams of Ethernet traffic between Xena test equipment and Devices Under Test (DUTs) at all speeds up to 800Gbps, and analyze the results. It can also be used to add various forms of impairment up to 100Gbps when using the Chimera network emulator.
The user-friendly interface makes XenaManager an effective tool for performing a wide range of core test scenarios for semiconductor & Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), network service providers, and hyperscalers.
Wire-speed traffic generation and analysis
High precision solution for chassis time synchronization
Used for OWL measurements, synchronized traffic start and timestamping
Can use any combination of NTP, PTP or RFC 868 TIME
Legacy Xena testers can be retro-fitted with XenaTimeSynch (GPS requires factory refit)
Compatible with Xena1564 (ITU-T Y.1564) test methodology
Odin might be the god of war in Nordic mythology, but in the world of Ethernet testing, Z10 Odin is a key part of Xena’s Ethernet Traffic Generator solution.
Odin can test Ethernet devices at 6 speeds up to 10Gbps – 10/100/1000M and 2.5/5/10G.
In Nordic mythology, Loki is the god of mischief. In the world of Ethernet testing, Z100 Loki is an important part of the Xena product line, which is Xena’s Ethernet Traffic Generation & Analysis (TGA) solution.
Z100 Loki supports testing of NRZ-based Ethernet at data rates of 10G / 25G / 40G / 50G / 100G.
AI, cloud computing, and hyperscalers are accelerating the demand for ultra-high-speed, low-latency connectivity, taking us past Gigabit Ethernet and into the era of Terabit Ethernet.
Teledyne LeCroy’s Terabit Ethernet solutions are engineered to help you take full advantage of this new technology cycle. The Xena Ethernet Test Platform gives developers of semiconductor, NEMs, and hyperscalers the solutions they need to validate next-gen silicon, network devices, and interconnects with confidence.
Most of us know Z400 as the Nordic god of thunder and lightning. But in the world of Ethernet testing world, Thor plays a starring role in Xena’s Ethernet Traffic Generation solutions.
Thor boasts some truly heroic features – like being able to test both NRZ and PAM4 speeds. For NRZ based Ethernet at data rates of 10G / 25G / 40G / 50G and 100G. And for PAM4 based Ethernet at data rates of 50G / 100G / 200G / 400G. It can also test Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT).
Z800 Freya is the fastest of our high-speed Ethernet traffic generators. Named after the Nordic god of fertility, Z800 Freya supports testing of seven Ethernet speeds: 800GE, 400GE, 200GE, 100GE, 50GE, 40GE, 25GE and 10GE.
Capability:
Spectral scan, spatial scan, peak-hold, continuous scanning, spectral and spatial comparison, scripting, limit lines, and report generation.
Spatial scan time:
Continuous real-time or sub-second single scan for the entire scan area is dependent on spectrum analyzer performance.
Spectral scan time:
45 seconds for L 10 cm x W 10 cm (L 4” x W 4”) PCB with a 100 MHz span and 100 kHz RBW. Scanning area, span, and RBW are user-selectable within spectrum analyzer specifications
