More Product Information
Pylons are stationary metal Device Under Test support structures designed to minimize measurement signal backscattering.
Their shapes, sizes, and construction specifications are determined by requirements such as maximum DUT size, its mechanical properties, and minimum rotator size.
MVG Performance Series heavy duty AZ/EL positioners represent the latest generation of multi-axis rotary positioning subsystems with turntable diameters up to 48.0 in (1,219 mm). They offer enhanced capabilities and improved performance relative to size and incorporate new engineering advances.
The MVG-Orbit/FR performance series has recently been expanded to include the AL-458x series of medium-duty, tri-axes positioners. Thanks to their low profile design and advanced drive mechanism, these symmetrical AZ/EL/AZ positioners ensure accurate, balanced rotation, and controllable velocity.
Their rugged and straightforward construction ensures maximum reliability and trouble-free operation, yielding the best size and weight / performance ratio. This series includes a counter weight option which improves overall system stability and accuracy while allowing for higher DUT loads.
Aperture field probe systems are used to evaluate the extraneous signals that exist in the area surrounding the device under test due to reflections and other transmitting sources.
MVG offers a complete range of field probes of varying sizes and configurations to meet diverse testing requirements.
The EH1840 EMC horn combines stable gain performance and low VSWR with wide band frequency operation. The horn is single linearly polarized with excellent cross-polar discrimination. The unique horn design suppresses any possible excitation of higher order modes in the aperture and maintains a well-defined smooth radiation pattern in the direction of the boresight axis throughout the operational bandwidth.
This compact EMC Chamber with a 3 meter test range will settle into test areas of limited space while continuing to produce exceptional performance for EMC measurement. Emission test volumes of up to 1.5m are accommodated with very repeatable results. Suitable for EMC pre-compliance emissions and EMC compliance immunity testing.

MVG medium duty azimuth positioners provide accurate rotation, velocity, and direction and offer turntable diameters up to 30 in (686 mm). Rugged yet simple construction ensures maximum reliability and trouble-free operation.
The CISPR25 emc chamber is designed for emc compliance benchtop testing of automotive components and wiring harnesses . The MVG CISPR25 emc chamber is designed for the emc measurements using the requisite 1 m test distance and for a “typical bench” configuration of 2.5 m x 1.0 m. The unique design requires less volumetric space than traditional absorbers and still provides the volume required to have the requisite distances between the EUT and the walls and the emc absorber and the walls & ceiling. The chamber is designed with anechoic treatment that meets the specified attenuation in the CISPR 25 standard, and it is designed to meet the Long Wire testing specified in Annex J. The polypropylene emc absorber does not undergo the typical age-related deterioration of the typical “foam” polyurethane absorbers. The UH-series, polypropylene emc absorber is also applicable to the radar pulse testing required in some automotive test standards.
